I had the pleasure of dining at Baia Coastal Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar for my birthday celebration, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was enjoyable. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the scenery and overall atmosphere were very relaxing, which made it a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
I was skeptical of the menu at first because I had to Google most of the menu options, but once the food arrived, all of that hesitation disappeared. I ordered the stuffed pork chop and was truly amazed by the chef’s handiwork. First of all, the pork chop was incredibly juicy. After every cut, I found myself looking at the piece I had just sliced because I was genuinely mesmerized by how perfectly it was cooked.
The chef not only made this meal delicious, but the presentation was strategically put together, with each component carefully placed to complement the others. It was clear that a lot of thought went into both the flavor and the appearance of the dish. I will definitely be coming back to this location again to enjoy the chef’s handiwork once more.

Update: Rudy has found his forever home 🥰

🐷 Meet Rudy! 🐷

This sweet little mini potbelly pig was rescued from a tough situation. He had been kept in a cage that was far too small, wasn’t eating the right food, and his hooves and skin took a beating from poor conditions. Despite it all, Rudy has such a friendly spirit and is making progress with care. 💖

Right now, Rudy needs some important vet work:
✨ Castration
✨ Dental care (teeth check/possible trimming)
✨ Continued hoof care

His hooves are already looking better with cleaning, but he still needs professional help to get comfortable and healthy. The farm vet appointment is set for Tuesday, September 16th, and the costs will depend on what’s needed.

🐖 Here’s how you can help:
💌 Donations toward Rudy’s vet care are greatly appreciated!
📲 PayPal: [[email protected]]
📲 Venmo: [Patricia-Terrant-1]
🏡 We are also looking for a loving, forever home for Rudy once he’s ready.

This little guy deserves a fresh start and a life full of love, proper care, and freedom to be a pig. If you’d like to help or know someone who might be the perfect home for Rudy, please reach out.

🐥 Looking to Rehome 2 Sweet Ruen Ducks 🐥

I’m currently looking for a loving forever home for a bonded pair of Ruen ducks—a male and a female, approximately 1 month old. These two are healthy, active, and already showing their sweet personalities.

They’ve been raised with care as part of my wildlife rehab work, but now it’s time to find them a safe, happy place to live out their days.

Important:
➡️ These ducks are being rehomed as pets only—not for food or hunting.
➡️ Prefer someone with duck experience or willing to provide a safe, predator-proof home.
➡️ Must be rehomed as a pair.

If you or someone you trust is interested, please message me directly for more info! 🦆💚
Please share to help these cuties find their perfect home!

🎃 A huge thank you to the Lusby, MD Giant for their generous donation of 84 pumpkins for our wildlife rehabilitation efforts! 🎉 Pumpkins are not only a tasty treat for animals, but they're also packed with health benefits. Full of fiber, Vitamin A, and antioxidants, pumpkins support healthy digestion and strong immune systems. Even better, pumpkin seeds act as a natural dewormer, helping to keep wildlife free of parasites naturally.

If you'd like to join us in sharing the pumpkin goodness with local wildlife, we’d be happy to share! Just reach out, or simply place a plain pumpkin in your yard, cut it open, and let the animals enjoy. Thank you for helping us make a difference for our wildlife neighbors! 🦊🐿️🦌

🕷️ Meet Willie the Spider! 🕷️

Our beloved neighbor Willie, Mark and Stephenie’s loyal German Shorthaired Pointer, is all set for Halloween! He’s traded in his usual sleek look for a set of eight “extra” legs—making him the friendliest spider you’ll ever meet. As a wildlife rehabilitator, I love seeing our four-legged friends get in the spirit of the season.

Let’s keep the fun going! Share photos of your pets in their Halloween costumes below—I can’t wait to see all the creative looks!

*A Heartwarming Wildlife Tale with a Touch of Reality*

Earlier this year, a remarkable encounter took place right down the street from our rehabilitation center. Our neighbor, Tom Benedik, discovered a mother raccoon and her two tiny babies nestled in an unexpected spot -- inside of his and his wife Denise's boat! Unsure how to handle the situation, they reached out to Blue Angel Wildlife Rescue for help, and together, we set off on a journey of care, compassion, and hope.

Touched by the experience, Tom wrote a heartfelt account, capturing not just the events, but also the powerful emotions that connect us all--animals and humans alike. He wrote this story to share his feelings about this experience, with his wife Denise.

With Tom's generous permission, we're privileged to share this moving tale with you. It's a story of love, rescue, and the strength of sibling bonds in the wild. But it also serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of nature and the harsh realities these animals face. While Tom and Denise did everything possible to help, the journey is not without heartbreak.

We hope this story touches your heart as it did ours.
