*REQUESTING ASSISTANCE*

On July 23rd, at approximately 11:10pm, a vehicle crashed through multiple poles going north bound on 500 block of Main Street. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot. During the investigation we have figured out who the driver is.
The Lusk police department is requesting any camera footage of the crash and of the driver fleeing the scene. Please email any footage to [email protected]. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Bear Sighting: No immediate threat

Situation is being monitored by Game and Fish

Early this morning on May 5th, a smaller bear was sighted near the town. Please be aware of your surroundings and call dispatch if you see anything, do not go near it or any wild animal. Again, there is no immediate threat, it has been over an hour since the bear was last spotted.
