Notice of vacancies

The Board of Trustees is seeking to fill one spot on the Planning Commission. Applicants must be residents living within the town boundaries.

The Board is also seeking to fill spots on the Board of Adjustment. Two applications have been received but the town is seeking additional applicants to fill all five positions.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Beginning Monday, August 31, asphalt overlay work will begin on Danforth Road between Santa Fe Avenue and Kelly Avenue. Lane closures and traffic redirection will be in effect as the project progresses; however, one lane in each direction will remain open at all times. This project is expected to take 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

We appreciate your patience as we make these important improvements to Danforth Road.

Letters of interest can be dropped off at Town Hall or emailed to the Town Manager at [email protected].

🚨 BURN BAN EXTENDED 🚨

The Luther Fire Department would like to notify residents that the current Burn Ban has been extended for an additional 14 days.

Due to continued dry conditions and elevated fire danger, residents are urged to exercise extreme caution and refrain from all outdoor burning until the Burn Ban has been lifted.

Please do not burn brush, leaves, trash, debris, or conduct any type of open burning during this period.

Wildfires can develop quickly under these conditions and can place homes, property, firefighters, and our community at significant risk.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work together to reduce the risk of wildfires and keep our community safe.
