We offer Adult Fiction, Non-Fiction, Biographies, and Large-Print editions. We also have a large Young Adult section, as well as a Juvenile section with Juvenile Fiction and Non-Fiction, and a huge Children's section, which includes books marked by grade level for Accelerated Reading (AR) points for school tests. We have a huge selection of CD-Audiobooks, Juvenile & Adult DVDs and VHS movies, as w

ell as computers for patrons to use for job searches and school work and testing. We also offer Inter-Library Loan services to our patrons, E-books for Nooks and Kindles, and Wi-Fi services for the public.

Our Story

Welcome to Luverne Public Library.

We offer Adult Fiction, Non-Fiction, Biographies, and Large-Print books. We also have a sizeable Children’s Section that includes Young Adult, Juvenile Fiction/ Non-Fiction, as well as an Easy Read section for beginner readers. Both of our Juvenile and Easy Read section books are marked for the Accelerated Reading program by grade level and points for testing. We have a huge selection of CD-Audiobooks, Juvenile & Adult DVDs, as well as some Music CDs.

If we do not have something in our print library we offer Inter-Library Loan services to our patrons, and access to digital books/audio-books/movies/read-along books through our affiliation with Camellia.net, an on-line digital library.

Free Wi-Fi is also available 24/7 for our patrons and the general public.
