❤️ A Sweet Thank You! 🚑

Luverne Rescue would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Charles Allen for thinking of us and bringing our crew some delicious treats!

We’re not sure if Mr. Allen will see this post, and we’ll certainly thank him in person when we see him again, but we wanted to take a moment to publicly show our appreciation for his kindness and thoughtful gesture.

And please excuse the camera angle! 😂 This was the best we could come up with because, as you can imagine, sweet treats don’t last very long around here! 🍫🤣

It’s little gestures like this that remind us how fortunate we are to serve such a wonderful community.

A Luverne/Rutledge native, Kent serves his hometown as part of the Luverne Rescue family while also taking his skills to the skies as a flight medic/nurse with Enterprise Rescue Air.

Whether he’s serving patients on the ground or in the air, Kent’s dedication to emergency medicine is something worth celebrating!

We’re grateful to have him as part of our team and hope he has a wonderful birthday!

We know many residents across Crenshaw County are still cleaning up fallen trees, limbs, and other debris left behind by Hurricane Isaias. We also understand that burning may seem like the easiest way to get rid of it.

However, with the strong winds we’re experiencing this weekend, we’re asking everyone to please hold off on any outdoor burning.

It only takes one strong gust of wind for a small fire to quickly spread out of control, putting nearby homes, property, and even lives at risk.

We understand that everyone is ready to get their yards and property cleaned up and get things back to normal. We just ask that you give it a little more time and wait until weather conditions are safer.
