It’s time! Orders for the Luverne Rescue Camp Stew Fundraiser open TODAY, August 31, at 9:00 a.m.!

Camp Stew is $12 per quart, with pickup scheduled for November 21.

Online payments are securely processed through PayPal, but you do NOT need a PayPal account to order. You may check out using a debit or credit card. Luverne Rescue does not collect or store your debit or credit card information.

💵 CASH OR CHECK ORDERS

If you prefer to pay by cash or check, orders may be placed in person at the Luverne Rescue station Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Please remember that Luverne Rescue is an emergency medical service. There may be times during those hours when our crews are responding to emergency calls and no one is available at the station. We appreciate your patience and understanding if you need to return at another time.

Every order is personally reviewed, confirmed, and assigned an order number. A member of Luverne Rescue will contact you with your order number and any additional information you may need.

Hey ! I am working on a project for the Alabama Emergency Management Agency and need your help.

I am looking for people who have benefited from the work the EMA does - this could be direct benefits (storm shelter tax credit, weather radio help, etc) or indirect (something you saw on the EMA social media helped prepare you for disaster, etc).

**ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE**

Unfortunately, the work on Bodiford Pool Road was not completed today. The closed section between Montgomery Highway (Highway 331) and Farrior Road will remain closed throughout tonight and Tuesday, September 1.

Please continue to use an alternate route and allow additional travel time. We will provide another update once the roadway has reopened.

**ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE**

The Crenshaw County Highway Department will close a small portion of Bodiford Pool Road between Montgomery Highway (Highway 331) and Farrior Road on Monday, August 31, 2026.

The road is expected to remain closed throughout the day. Please plan to use an alternate route and allow extra travel time.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while the Highway Department completes the necessary work.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase across Crenshaw County this afternoon, with the greatest coverage between approximately 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Storms may produce frequent lightning, gusty winds, and periods of heavy rainfall. Please use caution if traveling and be prepared to move indoors when storms approach.

As we all know, Mother Nature can be unpredictable. Some areas may receive a strong storm or heavy rain, while others may receive very little, or nothing at all.

We will continue monitoring conditions and provide updates as needed.

📣❤️ A Little School Spirit Goes a Long Way! ❤️📣

Luverne Rescue had the privilege of joining Luverne High School for a special pep rally at Luverne Health and Rehabilitation, LLC! 🐯

While the students brought the school spirit, our crew had the fun job of helping pass out pom-poms and cookies to the residents so they could join in on the excitement. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and cheering made our day just as much as we hope it made theirs. ❤️

We love opportunities like this that bring different generations of our community together. Thank you to Luverne High School and Luverne Health and Rehabilitation for letting Luverne Rescue be a small part of such a fun morning!
