Auditing and investigatory oversight of local government is the primary day to day mission of the State Auditor's Office, but it's not the only role they have. They also sit on the Executive Council.

Never heard of it? The Executive Council is the mechanism put in place that is meant to keep the Governor's powers in check. The Executive Council votes on certain gubernatorial actions and can approve or not approve them. They also make a lot of other important decisions. The Executive Council is made up of all the independently elected State Constitutional Offices. All the more reason it is so important to put someone in each of these offices with the knowledge, experience and integrity to hold the Governor accountable. Not only do I have the auditing, compliance and investigations experience, I also bring the local government and executive government leadership experience to function at this level.

46 counties visited and counting! I believe in working hard and giving everything you do 100%. It has been a pleasure meeting so many people and teaching voters about the role of the State Auditor, as well as talking about actual solutions that only someone with experience in the job can deliver.

Like my fraud risk score concept, with legislation currently going through the bill-making process to make it law. Because anyone asking for state funds, should be able to demonstrate that they can protect your tax dollars BEFORE they even receive the funds. What a novel idea 💡

I would like to thank all of the people that took the time to attend the nominating convention for district 21 this past weekend. A big thank you to the people that took the time to organize and set up the event. I would especially like to thank the delegates for entrusting me with the nomination to be the Republican candidate for Minnesota House of Representatives district 21A! I will stay determined to bring my common-sense conservative values to the capital. I look forward to meeting people from across the district on the campaign trail.
