Thank you Wisconsin Public Service Foundation for grant money used to replace the department’s aging AED unit.

Grants, donations, and fundraisers all help by allowing us to purchase equipment without going to the municipalities asking for funds.

We can’t say thank you enough for your support!!!

Double the donation, double the impact toward keeping people safe. 🚒🚔

Luxemburg firefighters recently did an evening of training at New Franken Fire Department’s training facility.

Firefighters trained on a second story window extraction, advancing hose lines, along with using a hose line to rescue a conscious or unconscious firefighter who’s fallen into a basement. Then firefighters took multiple passes through a confidence course, without SCBA, and then reversing the course wearing SCBA. Training was performed in a non-smoke filled environment which allowed firefighters to see how to perform each task.

Along with this training, firefighters were using our new portable radios, getting familiar with its functionality.

Repetitive training keeps firefighters fresh. New training methods gives firefighters tools to use in handling different situations.

Thank you New Franken Fire Department for the use of your facility.

A huge THANK YOU for joining us at this year’s Pancake/Porky fundraiser.

We enjoyed serving all 1,317 of you, watching the kids pick out a fire helmet, and allowing the kids to sit in and check out our fire apparatus.

And thanks to all our sponsors and everyone who made a cash donation.

We hope everyone had a good time. We wouldn’t be able to do this without your support.

Again a BIG Thank You!!!

We will be serving from 7am - 11am.

The folk’s from Uncle Pancake will again be flipping delicious pancakes for you to enjoy.

While visiting, take a seat in one of our trucks, look at the equipment we use, and the gear we wear. Then stay a bit longer, find a seat, and enjoy the parade!!!

If you prefer a “To Go Order”, they can be picked up at our Colle Street entrance. Access for these orders is to drive up Colle Street from the south.

We look forward in seeing everyone there!

Luxemburg and Casco Firefighters recently ran a water movement drill to determine maximum water flows when setup for different scenarios.

The information is recorded so when a fire occurs, we know the maximum water flows we can obtain based on apparatus placement.

Firefighters enjoyed spending their day at the Luxemburg-Casco High School for the Career Fair.

We discussed schooling requirements, volunteer versus career firefighters, showed some of the equipment we use, answered questions, and then had student volunteers get dressed in turnout gear.

We also discussed our Junior Firefighter Program, with some of the students showing an interest. About 20% of our existing members came through this program, which was started 3-years ago.

The future of the Fire Service lies with these students, and we want to give them an opportunity to see what being a firefighter is all about.

Thank You to the LC School District for having us!
