Congratulations to our Firefighter Ellen Secor on your citation for a CPR/AED save. Ellen is a DCNR Ranger and her and her partner Emily were instrumental in saving a life at Swatara State Park in May. A ceremony with state and local officials was held today at Memorial Lake. Great job!

Hello! Hello! Hello! Summer is almost over which is so unfair. The Club has been busy doing things that aren't fun, but necessary! The kitchen had a good scrub and cleanout. Huge thanks to my dear friend Ashley Siemanski who always comes to get as dirty as I do! We spent the day covered in dirt and grease and when we were done, the kitchen was sparkling! The Health Inspector came and we passed with flying colors! We have also been working on a few new menu items and generally formulating a plan to have the kitchen open a lot more this fall! There are also some plans to update the club! stay tuned for that..

I will now be working on a fancy flyer to give you some upcoming events! All food events are open to the public. All are welcome and as always, there are plenty of member applications with the bartenders. Just ask! The more, the merrier!

Today we assisted the Slough family with laying former Fire Chief Carl Slough to rest. Carl was a pillar of our community and will be deeply missed.

The family of Len Bixler was also presented with a framed copy of his last call. Lens coat was also retired and will be permanently displayed in the station.
