The Town of Lyman Park will be closed Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11 while repairs and maintenance are completed on the playground equipment and safety padding.

We know the weather is going to be beautiful ☀️ and that many kids are excited to be outside enjoying the park. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience, but keeping the playground safe and well maintained for our families is always our priority.

Today, we pause to remember Deputy Sheriff Kevin Earl Carper who was tragically killed in the line of duty 19 years ago.

Deputy Carper dedicated his life to serving and protecting his community with courage, integrity, and selflessness. His sacrifice is one we will never forget. Though the years have passed, his legacy continues to live on through the brothers and sisters who wear the badge, and through a community forever impacted by his service.

We honor his commitment, we remember his sacrifice, and we carry his name forward. May we always serve in a way that reflects the values he stood for.

Gone, but never forgotten. End of Watch: February 27, 2007. 🖤💙
