URGENT: We advise people to stay away from the earthen trails and beach at Percival's Island, and other water areas, as the James River is near flood stage and rising. The fast moving water is extremely dangerous and should be avoided. Thank you for your cooperation.

“The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation.” – George Washington

Happy Veteran's Day to all those who have proudly worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. Today, and everyday really, but especially today...if you see a veteran wearing a hat, a shirt, a sticker...anything that says "I served", kindly give them your thanks and your utmost regards. We appreciate and honor all that our veterans have done for our country.

TODAY IS THE DAY! We are very excited about our Movie in the Park tonight. Hocus Pocus is a favorite among our staff and we know we've got some people out there excited for this movie, too!

So, one more announcement: THANKS to the fine folks at Renaissance Theatre, the Sanderson Sisters will be at City Stadium tonight, available for photos at our photo booth! Winifred, Sarah, and Mary have left their cottage and decided to spent time with all of us. So take advantage of their generosity and make sure to get a photo with the trio, especially before the sun rises.

Come dressed in your costume (there are prizes for Most Original, Spookiest, and Best) and get ready for an evening with the Sanderson Sisters.

If you're still on the fence for tonight, just remember, "Don’t get your knickers in a twist! We’re just three kindly old spinster ladies.” – Winifred

Hazard tree leaning over creekside trail right near Hillsdale Rd access. Wouldn't take much to take it down. Leaning on a very small branch.
Pretty images to make up for the problems I posted!
The barriers on the broken bridge have been moved and I believe people have used it to cross the creek. Terribly unsafe. I guess more barrier work needed.

I'm so disappointed in the choice to only do one movie in the park this year. Is that decision set in stone or is there any way you could reconsider?
