Job Title: School Bus Driver

Reports to: Mr. Ryan Collins, Transportation Supervisor

Job Summary: Safely transport students to and from school and other activities. This includes conducting pre-trip inspections, adhering to assigned routes, maintaining order on the bus, obeying all traffic laws, cleaning and fueling the bus, assigning seats, and responding to emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A minimum of two years of driving experience
• A valid Ohio Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, and no air brake restriction
• Must meet the physical, mental, and moral requirements established by federal and state laws
• Must be familiar with all district procedures, safety and emergency procedures, and Ohio’s pupil transportation rules
• Must pass a criminal background check
