I have been talking to alot of folks lately that say "wow, I just didnt know". So im going to try and get it out there in this wonderful digital age.
- We are most definitely not always stuck on ships (were does this rumor come from?)
- The Navy hires you and teaches you a skill or trade of your choosing and your job for the Navy is to just simply perform those tasks and go home. Ex: Im a mechanic so if the hydraulic system for the aircraft elevator breaks then Air Dept would call me to fix it. If my computer breaks i call the IT dept to fix it. Make sense...just like in any normal city. When you are done doing your job that day you go home and do what ever you want until you get back to work the next day.
- We allow tattoos everywhere besides your face as long as they are good natured.
- There are no extra requirements to be able to join with a GED or High School Diploma equivalent.
- Anyone willing to go to boot camp between Sep-Dec is a minimum of a 10k bonus, alot of jobs are offering 25k and a select few offering 50k.
- On top of the bonuses the Navy will also pay off up to 65k in college debt currently.

And are you ready for this?!?!? DRUM ROLL PLEASE....... just becasue you come into the office to ask questions, see what its like, check if you qualify whatever it may be, does not mean we are going to sn**ch you up and ship you off to boot camp lol. Yall dont have to treat us like we are the boogeyman or something, its a process and it takes time and thats if you even qualify. So come on in and ask some questions I promise its not that scary lol.

Well, well, well, The Navy decides to sweeten the deal even more! Making big moves for a short time. Here it is...

- If you qualify to join and ship to basic training in Aug-Sep select jobs have a 30-50k bonus, 24 jobs have a 25k bonus and all others are 10k. Everyone gets big money!

- Any High School Senior who qualifies and joins now and goes to basic training in July 2023 gets 10k.

- LRP is back!!! Anyone who qualifies and goes to basic training between Sep 2022 and Oct 2023 qualifies for 65k in college student loan repayment!

Being in the Navy doesn't mean you are stuck on ships for the whole time!

How is that even a thought haha? Yes we deploy on them about every 2 years and go on random small underways...but seriously stuck on the ship for 4 years? Who comes up with this stuff?!?! Like we just go out and blow tax payer dollars burning millions of gallons of fuel for no reason...wow.
