Well, we didn’t get the outcome we had hoped for, but the people of Moore County have spoken, and I respect their decision.

We ran a good race, and I’m proud of the campaign we ran. To everyone who supported me, voted for me, encouraged me, and prayed for us,thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Congratulations to Sheriff Tyler Hatfield. I wish you continued success serving the citizens of Moore County.

We gave it everything we had, and I walk away with my head held high. I did get more than 20 votes.😁

Thank you, Moore County. God bless you all.

Well, we made it to the finish line.

Ten months ago, I announced I was running to become your next Sheriff. Since then, this journey has had its highs and lows, but one thing has remained constant,my commitment to the citizens of Moore County.

I have truly enjoyed meeting so many of you. While I didn't have the opportunity to meet all 6,000 citizens, I made every effort to knock on doors, shake hands, and personally ask for your vote. More importantly, I listened. Your concerns were heard, and they matter.
I believe leadership is measured by results, not promises.
As Chief of the Monteagle Police Department, I took over in January 2023 with a goal of making our community safer through proactive policing, accountability, and strong day-to-day leadership.

The results speak for themselves:
• Calls for service increased from 2,151 in 2023 to 3,299 in 2025.
• Traffic crashes dropped from 131 in 2023 to 51 in 2025,a 38.9% reduction.

• Drug-related arrests steadily declined over three years:
2023: 67% of arrests were drug-related.
2024: 61% of arrests were drug-related.
2025: 19% of arrests were drug-related.

These numbers reflect a department that stayed proactive, disrupted drug activity, and made it clear that Monteagle was not a place to traffic narcotics. While no community will ever eliminate crime completely, focused enforcement can make a measurable difference.
We also worked closely with neighboring agencies, assisting Grundy County, Marion County, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol whenever needed.

These improvements didn't happen by accident. They came from leadership that held people accountable, followed up on daily operations, emphasized training, and stayed engaged with the community.
This is the leadership I will bring to the Moore County Sheriff's Office if you elect me as your next Sheriff.
Tomorrow, the choice is yours. If you believe in accountability, transparency, professionalism, and proven leadership, I would be honored to earn your vote.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and welcomed me into your homes over the last ten months.

May God bless you, and may God continue to bless Moore County.

Important Voting Location Update

I was just informed that District 1 voters will NOT be voting at the courthouse. If you vote in District 1, your polling location is the Masonic Lodge on the Square.

Please help spread the word so everyone knows where to go on Election Day. Every vote matters, and I want to make sure no one is inconvenienced or misses the opportunity to vote.

Thank you, and remember to get out and vote on August 6th!

Two more days.

August 6th will be here before we know it. For those of you who plan to vote, I ask that you make your decision based on the direction you want our county to go and who you believe will best serve our community.
Nine months ago, I accepted the challenge of running to be your next Sheriff. Since then, I have worked hard to earn your trust by meeting citizens face-to-face, listening to your concerns, and sharing my vision for the future of the Moore County Sheriff's Office.
Here are the facts: I ran as a Republican, I submitted my paperwork on time, and I was the only candidate on the Republican primary ballot. Following the primary, questions arose about the election process. The general election ballots were prepared, and the order of the names was determined through that process. I had nothing to do with the ballot order.
Personally, I found my name without any difficulty. The order of the names doesn't concern me because I believe voters will take the time to vote for the person they want to serve as Sheriff. However, I do believe the process matters.
In law enforcement, following procedures isn't optional. We slow down, pay attention to detail, and do things the right way because mistakes can have serious consequences. Professionalism, accountability, and following established procedures are the standards we should expect in every part of public service.
Moore County deserves leaders who hold themselves to a higher standard. On August 6th, I respectfully ask for your vote and the opportunity to serve as your next Sheriff.

I received permission from a good friend to share this. As you can see, these types of political antics aren't just happening here, they're happening in other elections as well.

We have just 8 days left. Let's stay focused, stay positive, and finish this campaign the right way. I've spent months meeting people face to face, listening to your concerns, and asking for your vote. That's exactly how I'll continue until Election Day.

Let's finish strong. Moore County Strong.
