I had an interesting conversation with a young man I've known for quite some time. He said, Chief, it must be nice to have what you have.

I smiled and told him that the greatest blessings in my life aren't things at all. God blessed me with a wonderful wife, a loving family, good friends, and opportunities to serve others. Those are the things I value most.

We talked about hard work and dedication. I explained that there have been many days working two jobs, double shifts, and even seven days a week. Not because I was chasing things, but because I wanted to provide for my family and build a better future. Life doesn't always give us everything we want, but effort, perseverance, and faith can take us farther than most people realize.

Success isn't measured by what you own. It's measured by your character, your integrity, how you treat people, and the difference you make in the lives of others.

If elected Sheriff, I will bring that same dedication to the citizens of Moore County. I will be available, accountable, transparent, and fair. I will work hard every day to earn your trust.
When you go to the polls, ask yourself this question: Do you want a leader or a supervisor?

A supervisor makes sure tasks get done. A leader inspires others to be better, leads by example, and serves those around them. Great leadership creates an environment where others can grow into leaders themselves.

My goal has never been to seek a title. My goal has always been to serve. If given the opportunity, I will lead with integrity, humility, and a commitment to every citizen of Moore County.
Success is not about what you have. It's about who you are and how you serve others.

Yes it was.

I took a much-needed day to rest, catch up on yard work, and hopefully get the pool ready for summer. It was also a good opportunity to gather my thoughts and prepare for the busy week ahead.

While the campaign never truly ends, sometimes it's important to take a brief pause, recharge, and refocus. Public service requires energy, commitment, and perspective, and a day of rest can go a long way.

As we head into another week, I look forward to meeting more of the great citizens of Moore County, listening to your concerns, hearing your ideas, and discussing how we can continue building a stronger future together.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and prayers. Have a blessed week, Moore County! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

A big thank you to Brady Goodwin for organizing the meet-and-greet with Monty Fritts, who is running for Governor. My wife and I had the opportunity to attend and get a picture with him.

As we move through this election year, I encourage everyone to get out, meet the candidates, and learn what they stand for. An informed voter is one of the most important parts of a strong community.

Brady, Monty, and I are all seeking different roles in government, and I believe it's important that citizens take the time to hear from each candidate, ask questions, and make decisions based on their vision, qualifications, and plans for the future.

Get involved, stay informed, and most importantly, get out and vote. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

A LEADER, what does this term mean. Someone who inspires, guides, and influences people toward a common goal. A true leader builds trust, sets the example, motivates others, and helps people grow. Leadership is often earned through character, vision, integrity, and the ability to serve others , not just by holding a title.

A supervisor is someone responsible for overseeing work, managing tasks, and ensuring rules, policies, and expectations are followed. A supervisor focuses more on organization, accountability, performance, and day-to-day operations.

A true leader will inspire and hopefully help mold the supervisors around him. The process of stewardship and putting the community first is not always as easy as it should be, but a true leader will do it anyway.

If elected as the next sheriff of Moore County, you will get a leader , not just a supervisor. I will lead by example, set the standard through integrity and accountability, and ensure the supervisors are effectively handling the day-to-day operations while always putting the citizens first.
