Tomorrow YOU decide what matters.

For me, it's always been about the people, not the politics. 22 years in the US Navy and 8 years on the council, it's always been about bringing folks together around common goals instead of dividing them.

The voters I talk to in District 4 dislike what they see at the national level. No one wants that same political divisiveness on display there to filter down to our own local non-partisan races.

We can't afford to be working against each other. The challenges that face our community are too great.

If you agree with my positive vision, vote Kathy Kershner for Whatcom County Council by tomorrow at 8pm. I'd be honored to have your vote.

PLEASE SHARE: Voters in district 4 want bold leadership, not empty promises. They want a leader with a positive vision, who works to unite instead of divide. One thing that makes our rural community so special is how we treat one another. In politics, it should be no different. At the end of the day we are all each others neighbor. Over the past 16 years, I've engaged in local politics and the policy making process making a conscious effort to treat everyone with dignity and respect, especially when we disagree. Public service isn't about getting even or keeping score. It's about doing what's best for the people, no matter what. And for me it will always remain as simple as that.

The election is now right around the corner. Please remember to vote. And vote Kathy Kershner for Whatcom County Council!
