Volunteers receive complimentary fair entry and a meal voucher.Up to four students (14-17 years old) can work per shift.If circumstances change and you are unable to work your volunteered shift, you'll need to find your own replacement. Thank you for supporting our school!

Village Books and Paper Dreams is proud to announce the first annual Extraordinary Educator Awards! Nominated by their students, three K-12 Whatcom County educators will be randomly selected to win the award along with a variety of gifts for themselves and their classrooms.

Winners will be announced after May 1 and celebrated on May 8, 2025 in our Readings Gallery. All are invited!

(Why randomly selected? Because each and every one of you is extraordinary!)

Students are invited to nominate their teachers in person at the store or by using the form on our website.

Washington State PTA Recognizes Isom Elementary School PTA with the Gold Membership Growth Award Isom PTA has recently been recognized by Washington State PTA as a Gold Membership Growth Award recipient!

PTAs are presented with this award for enrolling at least 10% more members this year than last year. That means our PTA is growing!

Thank you to everyone who has become a member so far this year: YOU are the reason our PTA achieved this award! If you haven’t yet signed up for a PTA membership or renewed from last year, please consider joining today!

Squeals of joy could be heard on the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) playground last week. These littles have been waiting a very long time for a play structure of their own and it finally came. Spring is almost here and we're ready for it!🌸🪻🌷🛝🌞
