Scan the QR code below or stop in at various downtown Lynden businesses to get more information and grab a list of the lights to find.

Oh, and don't forget to load up on delicious (and local) treats so you have things to snack on while you hunt!

The sun is shining. The birds are chirping. There's magic in the air!

Our little downtown is getting ready for the "Downtown Elf on the Shelf Event" that will start at 11:00am. While you're searching for our little friends, be sure to stop in at businesses downtown for more festive fun, like getting your picture taken with Santa at the Lynden Heritage Museum, sponsored by Karen Timmer at Windermere Whatcom!

To start your search, or if you have any questions, stop by Elf Headquarters on the corner of Front Street and 5th. Have a wonderful and safe time and keep the magic alive!

Our Downtown Christmas Crew may have been a little naughty and secretly updated a certain someone's schedule to get him here in Lynden on Saturday, December 6th:

Santa, the big man himself, will be at the Lynden Community/Senior Center for breakfast from 8:00am to 10:00am and, if that wasn't enough, he agreed to do FREE photos at the Lynden Heritage Museum from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, sponsored by Karen Timmer at Windermere Whatcom!

The Downtown Christmas Crew hopes everyone had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving weekend...and they would now like to confirm there are ZERO excuses to not deck the halls, as there are no more holidays standing in the way of their time to shine!

Be sure to join us this Saturday, December 6th from 11:00am to 5:00pm for the annual "Downtown Lynden Elf on the Shelf Event" where participating businesses will have an extra little friend hiding somewhere in their store. Find them all, turn in your clue card at Elf Headquarters, and be put into a drawing to be one of THREE winners for the grand prizes!

Tsk, tsk - our cheeky Downtown Christmas Crew was caught red-handed downtown trying to see if they could find any of the elves!

Fortunately, the elves are smart enough to wait to make their homes at the various businesses downtown until closer to the event. I guess the Crew is just going to have to wait until December 6th from 11:00am to 5:00pm like the rest of the community!

Our Downtown Christmas Crew invites you to do all three in celebration of not only a successful Halloween event but also being one holiday closer to the annual "Downtown Lynden Elf on the Shelf Event"!

On Saturday, December 6th from 11:00am to 5:00pm join in the fun as you look for elves in various businesses downtown! Beyond the fun of elf hunting, many businesses have great sales or discounts to celebrate the day, or even little activities do to in their stores so you can warm up a bit.

The Downtown Christmas Crew is just sitting here, patiently waiting for Halloween to be over. They did plan on waiting until after Thanksgiving as well, but they want their moment to shine to come sooner!
