The kids had so much fun last year, so we are bringing back the WAW Book club for ages going into 3rd-8th grade on Tuesdays this summer. Starts June 2nd be sure to sign up for summer reading at https://forms.gle/R1xoAuwbbet7XmBC9

Emporia State University Libraries & Archives have announced the 2026 William Allen White (WAW) Book Award winners and October 3 WAW Celebration! Kansas schoolchildren selected Shannon Earle's “The Penguin of Ilha Grande: From Animal Rescue to Extraordinary Friendship,” and Angela Cervantes' “The Cursed Moon" as this year's WAW winning books.
