On behalf of myself, my officers, and my department, we mourn deeply for our brothers and sisters at the Lyndonville Fire Department.
People not involved in these services can imagine the strong bond, the family they become.
A loss of a "family" member leaves a huge hole that takes a part of each member.
To the Chief, his officers, the members of the department, family, and friends, you have the thoughts, prayers, and undying support of the Lyndonville Police Department.

The vehicle left the lot as the patrol officer was arriving and the officer went to stop the vehicle on High Street. The vehicle stopped adjacent to 199 Depot Street. A high risk stop was conducted and the operator, Joseph Greenwood (46) initially complied before subsequently choosing to take leg bail. He was brought into custody in the nearby bank parking lot.
