PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE
Date: September 3, 2026
Subject: Precautionary Boil Water Notice
The City of Lynn Haven advises customers that water service was temporarily interrupted on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., due to an unexpected break in a 2-inch water main. Water service was temporarily shut off to allow for necessary repairs.
The following service addresses are affected:
Delaware Avenue: 804, 808, 812, 816, 900, 904, 906, 914, 918
E. 9th Street: 1503, 1504, 1507, 1510, 1511, 1512, 1513, 1514, 1516, 1600, 1602, 1605, 1607, 1620, 1628, 1700, 1704, 1708, 1710, 1711
If unforeseen circumstances arise during the repair process, the affected service area may be expanded. Any additional impacted customers will be notified accordingly.
As a precaution, all customers within the affected area are under a Precautionary Boil Water Notice, effective immediately upon restoration of water service.
Until bacteriological testing confirms that the water is safe for consumption, customers are advised to bring all water used for drinking, cooking, food preparation, making ice, brushing teeth, or any other consumption-related purpose to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before use.
This Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until bacteriological testing confirms that the water meets all applicable safe drinking water standards. A formal Notice of Rescission will be issued once the advisory has been lifted.
