🚸 Meet Your Crossing Guards 🚸

If you’ve driven through Lynn Haven during school arrival or dismissal, you’ve probably seen these three out there doing what they do best — keeping our kids safe and traffic moving.

Please join the Lynn Haven Police Department in recognizing Mr. Chris, Mr. Karlier, and Ms. Lisa, our outstanding school crossing guards.

They have stood their posts through rain, humidity, blazing sunshine, and some seriously brutal Florida heat. ☀️🥵

At this point, we’re pretty sure they’re part crossing guard, part heat-resistant superhero.

And somehow… they still haven’t melted. 😄

Even on the hottest days, they show up with a smile, a wave, and a watchful eye, helping students and families safely cross our streets. They are often among the first friendly faces our students see in the morning and the last before they head home.

Chris, Karlier, and Lisa — thank you for your patience, professionalism, good humor, and dedication to our children, their families, and the City of Lynn Haven. We are proud to have you as part of the Lynn Haven Police Department family.

If you see them out there, do them a favor: slow down, stay alert, follow their directions, and give them a wave. 👋

They’ve already survived the Florida heat — let’s make their job a little easier. 💙🚸

Lynn Haven Police Cpl. Meachum, K9 Marshall, and Officer Stuhr teamed up with Lynn Haven Fire Rescue this morning for a fun visit with our friends at The Arc of the Bay.
Marshall, one of the Police Department’s K9s, quickly became the star of the show and was more than happy to soak up every bit of attention.
We are grateful for opportunities like this to spend time with members of our community and continue building positive relationships throughout Lynn Haven.
