We’re proud to celebrate the graduation of 11 students from our Lowell office who successfully completed a four-week Computer Literacy training program!
At NAAM, we know that strong workforce development starts with building the right foundation. For many of our clients, that means developing essential computer skills needed for today’s entry-level jobs—where using email, completing online applications, navigating workplace systems, and handling basic digital tasks are part of daily responsibilities. Gaining these skills not only opens doors during the job search process, but also helps individuals feel confident and prepared once they enter the workforce.
Over the past four weeks, participants learned how to navigate job searches, identify job requirements, and confidently submit job applications. The computer skills developed in this course will also allow participants to more fully engage in NAAM’s online ESOL classes, strengthening both their language and digital literacy at the same time.
A special thank you to our instructor, Franz, for his dedication and guidance throughout the program. As the cohort moves forward, our employment specialists—Sabine, Zabi, and Kelsey—will continue working closely with each student, supporting job readiness activities while they apply the skills they’ve gained.
All of the students shared how much they enjoyed the class and expressed a strong interest in having more opportunities like this to continue building their computer skills.
