Lynnfield Summer Rec Co Ed Basketball League registration is open and spots are filling fast. This is a fun first league built for all skill levels. Players get a chance to stay active, build skills, and enjoy summer nights with friends and teammates.

League details:
• June 29 to August 5
• Mondays and Wednesdays
• 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

What to expect:
• Everyone plays, no tryouts and no cuts

Get ready for an incredible summer with Lynnfield Recreation Rec Adventures for Grades 3-10.

This program is packed with some of our biggest and most exciting trips of the summer. Every trip includes transportation, supervision, and admission, making it an easy and fun experience for families.

One of the highlights of the summer will be our Fisher Cats trip on July 23, where participants will go out on the field during the National Anthem as Junior Fisher Cats for the Day.

Early registration matters. Strong early enrollment helps us secure transportation, staffing, and group ticket rates in advance, which helps keep costs lower and trips running smoothly. Several destinations have limited summer availability and trips are expected to fill quickly.

This program is designed for golfers ages 8-14 and focuses on fun, improvement, sportsmanship, and confidence building while learning from PGA Golf Professionals.

Our Junior Golf Program teaches more than golf fundamentals. Players build teamwork, integrity, patience, and respect in a fun and supportive environment.

Lynnfield Recreation is excited to announce a new partnership with Bilancia Fitness to bring brand new teen and adult wellness programs to the community this summer!

Programs will be led by Diana Dellogono, owner of Bilancia Fitness. Diana has been teaching group fitness classes since 2010 and previously led fitness and wellness programming at UMass Lowell for more than 10 years. She brings incredible experience, energy, and passion for helping participants build strength and confidence in a supportive environment.

It is hard to believe, but school is out in less than one month! Summer will be here before we know it, and Lynnfield Rec has an amazing lineup of programs ready for kids of all ages and interests!

NEW THIS SUMMER!
We are excited to add a brand new Multi-Sports Program for students entering Grades 5-8. This program will run during the first week of summer while we prepare for Rec Station.

Dates: Tuesday, June 23 through Friday, June 26
Time: 8:00am-3:00pm

Kids will stay active, compete, play games, and kick off summer with friends!

Rec Jr. | Incoming Kindergarteners
A great introduction for children getting ready for kindergarten. Rec Jr helps kids build confidence, make friends, and become comfortable before the school year begins. The program is run by Kindergarten teachers and gives children a fun head start before fall.

Rec Station | Grades 1-8
Looking for a fun and active summer program? Rec Station is packed with sports, games, art activities, special events, and more! The program is run by Louise Ferullo along with multiple middle school teachers.

Middle School Afternoon Programs

Get ready to race!
Lynnfield Rec & Lynnfield High School is excited to host an action-packed Middle School Cross Country Meet on Thursday, June 11th at 3:00 PM. This is an awesome opportunity for middle school runners to experience the excitement of cross country in a fun, supportive, and high-energy environment alongside the Lynnfield High School Varsity XC Team.
From the starting line to the finish chute, runners will be surrounded by school spirit, cheering teammates, and an exciting race atmosphere right on the LHS campus.

Event Schedule:
• 3:00 PM – Check-in begins
• 3:15 PM – Team warm-up and stretching led by the LHS Varsity XC Team
• 3:30 PM – Race starts

All runners should meet behind Lynnfield High School near the baseball field at 3:00 PM to receive their race number and get ready for the event.

Participants will run a 3K course around the school fields with guidance and encouragement from the high school runners every step of the way. Whether your child is an experienced runner or trying cross country for the first time, this event is a great way to stay active, challenge themselves, and be part of a memorable afternoon.

Many families may not realize that Lynnfield Recreation is now fully self funded. This means our programs operate entirely through registrations and program revenue. Early registration plays a major role in helping us provide the best possible experience for your children.

When families register early, it helps us:
• Hire and schedule the right number of staff members
• Secure quality instructors and coaches
• Purchase equipment, supplies, and program materials in advance
• Plan transportation, trips, and activities more efficiently
• Avoid program cancellations due to low enrollment uncertainty

Summer programs require months of planning behind the scenes. Early registration gives us the information we need to prepare properly and create safe, organized, and fun experiences for every participant.
