Proudly hosted the opening ceremony of the first Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the Pacific Northwest – a new chapter in – relations and a new bridge connecting our people, businesses, universities, and innovation communities.

We greatly appreciate the tremendous support of Special Envoy of Uzbekistan President Administration to the U.S. Komil Allamjonov, Head of the - Business and Investment Council Secretariat Nozima Davletova, Ambassador Furqat Sidikov, Ambassador Ulugbek Lapasov, Consul General Jamil Sharapov, incredible team of Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the State of Washington, Governor Bob Ferguson, WA Secretary of State Steve Hobbs, and all our friends for sharing this historic moment with us.

Had a candid meeting with my colleague Sung Gil Chang, newly arrived Consul General of the Republic in .

We discussed promising opportunities for collaboration in many promising areas, as well as ways our Consulates can work together to support mutually beneficial initiatives in the region.

and enjoy a strong and trusted strategic partnership, built on decades of friendship and close cooperation. I look forward to bringing this partnership even closer to Washington State and creating new opportunities for our businesses, institutions, and communities.

Mamlakatimiz mustaqilligining 35 yilligi munosabati bilan Bell Harbor xalqaro konferensiyalar markazida O‘zbekiston bayrog‘i AQSh va Kanada bayroqlari qatorida ko‘tarildi.

Elliott ko‘rfazi sohilida joylashgan Bell Harbor xalqaro anjumanlar, biznes uchrashuvlari va tantanali tadbirlar o‘tkaziladigan nufuzli maskanlardan biridir. Majmua qariyb 9 300 kvadrat metr ochiq va yopiq tadbir maydoniga ega.

🎡 Shaharning mashhur Sietl ulkan charxpalagi (Seattle Great Wheel) esa O‘zbekiston bayrog‘i ranglarida jilolandi!

Sietl sohilida qad rostlagan, balandligi 53 metr bo‘lgan ushbu charxpalak 42 ta kabinaga ega. Undan shahar, Elliott ko‘rfazi va atrofdagi tog‘larning go‘zal manzaralarini tomosha qilish mumkin.

Katta Sietl hududi (Greater Seattle Area) Sietl, Tacoma, Bellevue va atrofdagi shaharlarni birlashtiruvchi, 4,1 milliondan ortiq aholiga ega yirik iqtisodiy mintaqadir. Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing va Costco kabi kompaniyalar faoliyat yuritadigan ushbu hudud texnologiyalar, aviatsiya va xalqaro savdoning yetakchi markazlaridan hisoblanadi.

🇺🇿🇺🇸 A HISTORIC RECOGNITION FOR UZBEKISTAN IN WASHINGTON STATE

On the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan, Washington State Governor Bob Ferguson has officially proclaimed September 1, 2026, as “Uzbekistan Independence Day” throughout the State of .

This meaningful proclamation recognizes Uzbekistan’s sovereignty, rich cultural heritage and commitment to peace, prosperity and national development. It also highlights the steadily growing partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States in trade, investment, technology, education, clean energy, tourism and people-to-people ties.

I am especially grateful that the proclamation recognizes the historic opening of the first Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Seattle as an important new bridge between Uzbekistan and Washington State, as well as the valuable contribution of the Uzbek-American community to the life and prosperity of the state.

My sincere gratitude to Governor Bob Ferguson and the people of Washington State for this important recognition, friendship and support.

As Uzbekistan celebrates 35 years of Independence, we look forward to opening an even more dynamic chapter in the partnership between Uzbekistan and Washington State.
