We would like to wish the men and women who have been serving in Lyons a Happy EMS Week! Lyons Fire started providing first aid and ambulance response many years ago...and then formalized the effort in 2024 with full ALS transport, thanks to the generous support of the residents of this wonderful community.
Crews will be treated to some delicious dinners and other small treats this week to recognize their service!!

Please be advised that the DFPC Single Engine Air Tankers (SEATs) will be conducting mission currency flight training tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13th, 2026. The SEATs will make one or two water drops each near Coffin Top Mountain, west of the town of Lyons, starting at approximately 11 am. The public can expect to see aircraft activity in the area, as weather permits. This is a planned training to maintain pilot skills required for specialized firefighting operations; there is no active fire in the area.
