2025 2nd Half Taxes are due by May 11, 2026.

You may pay by the following methods:

* In office (8:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. M-F)
* By mail (postmark by 5/11/2026 to avoid penalties and interest)
* By drop box (by the South entrance of the Courthouse)
* By phone with credit or debit card (2.5% fee applies)

ATTENTION:
The Rice County Treasurer's Office will stop all transactions at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, due to computer system maintenance. We plan to resume normal operations on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

The Rice County Treasurer's Office will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of President's Day. We will re-open with normal hours on Tuesday, February 17.

The Rice County Treasurer's Office and DMV will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will re-open with normal hours on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

The Rice County Treasurers Office has received confirmation that the 2025 Tax Statements are being mailed today, December 9, 2025. There has been some confusion on this, due to mis-information. We hope that Rice County Property Owners will receive their statements shortly.

The Rice County Treasurer's Office will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28, 2025 in observance of Thanksgiving.

We will re-open on Monday, December 1 with normal hours.

Please Note: this means the last business day of the month is Wednesday, November 26. Please plan accordingly if you have vehicle renewals due by November 30.
