City of Lyons The official page for the City of Lyons, Oregon. The City of Lyons was founded by two Irish brothers, Captain James C. Lyons and Henry Lyons in 1880.

Incorporated in 1958 with a population of 400. The latest population estimate is 1,130. We are nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range, along the Santiam River.
