Toombs County Bible Reading Marathon LET’S READ THE BIBLE FOR LIFE! After all, it is God’s Word. WHAT:
The entire Bible will be read from Genesis to Revelation without commentary in 90 hours.

THE BIBLE may be the MOST PURCHASED book in the world, but it is also often the LEAST READ and LEAST APPLIED due to a basic lack of understanding and motivation on the part of readers. WHERE:
In Front of the Toombs County Courthouse
WHEN:
Opening Ceremony @ 12 :00 noon on May 5 (The National Day of Prayer)
Bible Reading Begins @ 1:00 p.m. with Genesis Chapter 1 and continues until 11:

00 p.m. The readings are scheduled thereafter from 6 :00 a.m. until
11:00 p.m. through May 11, concluding @ 6:00 p.m. Closing Community Celebration @ 6 :00 p.m. on May 11
WHY:
To Create an Awareness in our Community that the Bible is the Only God-Inspired Guide for Successful Living

The Bible Reading Marathon is going excellent! If you have not had a change to stop by the Toombs County Courthouse - please do so today at any time and listen to the Word of God read aloud - it is POWERFUL!!!
