Hey gardeners! Did you plant seeds from the Seed Library? How are they doing? Tell us how it went. If you are saving seeds or have seeds you no longer want, we take donations of seeds up to three years old. We still have a lot of seeds in the Seed Library so feel free to stop by and take a look!👩‍🌾If you are interested in seed saving or want to learn more, we have some books you can check out.

Need to get the kids out of the house? Stop by and check out our craft station. The kids can decorate a drum (or a little storage tin if you prefer). The storytime kids had fun with it on Wednesday.

This is our last summer reading kit. We'd love to start a Zine Library and share your zine creation with our friends at Willamina Public Library. Zines are a great way to publish your own "mini magazine" and easily share it with others by making photocopies. This kit would be great for teens too! Come to the library to pick up a kit today!

Turn in your reading cards at the Library by the end of the day August 15 to be entered into the Summer Reading prize drawings. Good job kids!!

Red Yarn, music and puppetry, will be at the CITY HALL BACK ENTRANCE August 6 at 3pm. We moved this event indoors due to the heat. This FREE summer reading program is funded by the Oregon State Library Ready to Read Grant administered through Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service.
