Freedom Run registrations are available! Come join us this July 4th!
Visit lyonsrec.org or call/stop by our office to register!

This year we'll be trying out a new starting location for the 5K. It'll be located at the intersection of 16th and Ave T (Alden Rd). We'll be running/walking towards Broadway Ave by using the overpass for 96/14 Highway.
We hope this will be a safer option to register/check in, park, stretch, and start our race rather than on the highway.
The 15K will still be held and ran on the highway and starting at the Lyons High School parking lot.
We have a Google Map set up on the registration form to view as well.

Check out what Rice County Tourism is doing!

We still have a few advertising spots available on our newly designed and soon-to-be printed Rice County Tourism brochure!

This brochure will be distributed to travel centers across the state, and potentially beyond, helping put Rice County businesses directly in front of visitors as they plan their travels.

We’re looking to feature local businesses that are a great fit for tourism, places that help tell the story of Rice County and make sense as visitor stops along the way.

This will also be an annual opportunity, with the option to renew or repurchase advertising space in future editions if interested.
