Ongoing sub-severe storms will linger in eastern KS for the next few hours. Then severe storms will develop across central KS later this afternoon. Severe storms will march eastward this evening. Large hail and strong winds are the main concerns with this evening's activity.

Please keep an eye to the sky!

Finally, some much needed rain! However it is coming down rather quickly and drainage ditches throughout town are experiencing elevated levels! Some citizens have reported over 2" in their rain gauges!

Please talk to your kids about the dangers of playing in and around those drainage areas!

Also watch for flash flooding on roads, especially in the county!

As always, turn around dont drown, but if you find yourself in an emergency call 911!

Well, it happens, and sometimes at the most inconvenient time! But thats why its called an accident!

While in full swing and enjoying our time showing our trucks and interacting with the public, all safety resources were called away for a vehicle injury accident in town.

During that emergency event, it started to rain, sometimes heavy, shutting down the Touch A Truck event at this time.

We apologize and hope we can reschedule for a better day!
