☕️💚 **HELP US KEEP OUR TEACHERS COFFEE-FUELED!** 💚☕️

We’re doing it again! 🥹 Last year, Velvet Grind Coffee & Bistro was so proud to partner with the **Mabank Education Foundation** to help provide coffee for their teacher breakfast — and we are SO excited to be able to do it again this year!

But this year, we’re making it even bigger. 🎉

We’re kicking things off by providing coffee for the **Mabank High School** teachers and staff **AND the Transportation Department!** 🚌🍎

These educators and staff members pour so much into our students and our community, and we want to give them a little something in return — **a great cup of coffee and a whole lot of appreciation.** ❤️

☕️ **BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!**

We are looking for local businesses, organizations, and community members who would like to **sponsor coffee for our teachers and staff.**

Your sponsorship will help us cover the cost of providing coffee for this breakfast and allow us to continue showing up for the people who show up for our kids every single day.

🎉What a great way to start the school year!

The MISDEF team traveled to several campuses this morning to surprise and celebrate five new teachers with our first-ever New Teacher Mini Grants! 🍎📚

This new program was created specifically to support educators who are new to the classroom as they begin their teaching journey. New teachers were invited to submit an application sharing information about themselves and how additional funds could help them create a successful learning environment for their students.

Today, each of our five winners received $500 to purchase classroom supplies and resources to help kick-start their first year!🎉

The Mabank ISD Education Foundation (MISDEF) was honored to welcome 18 brand-new teachers by presenting each of them with a classroom setup gift card. These gift cards are designed to help our first-year teachers create welcoming, engaging learning environments for their students.
