One of our favorite days of the year, the annual Family Picnic, getting past members and their families together with current ones for good laughs, delicious food, some swimming and even fire truck rides. Thanks to everyone that made it, as it’s always great catching up. Thanks to Brian for spending the morning on the grill and the Stortz family for donating the sweet corn.

Last week, we got some training with some guys from Canton and Harmony Fire Department on electric vehicles. With more and more electric vehicles around, this training was a good, eye-opening learning experience with Vehicle Response Training leading the way. They not only showed us how these vehicles are put together and operate but gave us some tips and warned us about the dangers that could occur while responding to calls involving electric vehicles. They also introduced us to a few tools that work well on these types of calls and would be beneficial on other calls as well.

⚾️🔥 PLAYOFF GAME DAY 🔥⚾️

It’s WIN OR GO HOME time, and the MC boys are back in action tonight! 💙❤️⚾️
Before they hit the road, let’s send them off the right way! Mabel Ambulance and Fire will be escorting the team out of town as they head to Riverland in Austin for tonight’s playoff battle. 🚑🚒👏
The boys take the field at 6:00 PM on Field 1 and will face the loser of the NRHEG vs. Southland game, which starts at 4:00 PM.
This team has shown grit, heart, and determination all season long, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they continue to compete and represent MC. Small towns show up BIG, and today is no exception! 💙❤️
Come out and line up on Main Street at 3:30 PM, help give these boys a sendoff they’ll never forget! 📣⚾️🙌
Then let’s pack the stands tonight and bring the energy! Play hard, trust each other, and leave it ALL on the field!

It’s not just a three day weekend for grilling and drinks with friends, it’s a weekend to remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy those freedoms.
