The Taste of Mableton returns Saturday, Aug. 29, for a full day of food, music and family fun!

The day begins with a parade along Floyd Road, where you can spot City of Mableton elected officials taking part as they help kick off the festivities. Then, head to the Mable House Complex for family-friendly activities, a marketplace and more!

We’ll be there with a booth all day, so stop by and say hello!

We can’t wait to celebrate the community and culture that make Mableton one of a kind.

🚔 City of Mableton Appoints First Public Safety Director

The City of Mableton has appointed Dr. Kerry Stallings as its first Public Safety Director, marking a historic milestone as the City continues building its municipal public safety framework.

Dr. Stallings brings nearly 20 years of public safety leadership and currently serves as Chief of Police for the University System of Georgia, overseeing safety operations across 25 public institutions. He will lead the development and administration of Mableton's Public Safety Division, including the future City of Mableton Police Department.

How does a TAD work?

A Tax Allocation District begins with the current property values in a defined area.

Those values create a starting point. As property values rise, some of the new revenue can help pay for approved improvements within the district.
