Their service will support the City’s efforts to preserve the historic places that connect us to Mableton’s past and help shape its future.

City Council Adopts 20-Year Plan to Shape City’s Future!

Mableton City Council adopted Mableton 2045, the city’s comprehensive plan, which establishes a nearly 20-year framework to guide land use, future development and public investment through 2045.

Developed through community meetings, surveys, stakeholder discussions and research, the plan reflects residents' priorities while also addressing current challenges.

The plan will guide decisions on economic development, transportation, housing and infrastructure to support Mableton’s growth and quality of life.

¡El Concejo Municipal adopta un plan a 20 años para dar forma al futuro de la ciudad!

El Concejo Municipal de Mableton adoptó Mableton 2045, el plan integral de la ciudad, el cual establece un marco de referencia a casi 20 años para guiar el uso del suelo, el desarrollo futuro y la inversión pública hasta el año 2045.

Desarrollado a través de reuniones comunitarias, encuestas, debates con las partes interesadas e investigaciones, el plan refleja las prioridades de los residentes al tiempo que aborda los desafíos actuales.

El plan guiará las decisiones sobre desarrollo económico, transporte, vivienda e infraestructura para respaldar el crecimiento y la calidad de vida de Mableton.

Statement Regarding the Incident at Six Flags Over Georgia

We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident at Six Flags Over Georgia today. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the individual’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
Mableton Public Safety Director Dr. Kerry Stallings is coordinating with Cobb County Police and park security as the situation is addressed. We are grateful to the personnel responding to this incident and will continue to support coordination with the appropriate authorities.
Out of respect for the family and the ongoing investigation, we will refrain from commenting further at this time.
