Please join MPD on giving Officer S. Scheurer a warm and loving welcome to the family here at Mabton Police Department!! Officer Stephanie P. Scheurer #504 is the PD's newest full-time hire. We look forward to working with her as she begins a new journey and career in law enforcement for the City of Mabton.

Officer Scheurer grew up in Spokane, WA. She graduated from Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley in 2012.

She was born in Concord California, where she lived until the age of 10.

Officer Scheurer attended Spokane Community College and Eastern State Washington University as a full time student to pursue a degree in communications.

Officer Scheurer attended CJTC’s Basic Law Enforcement Academy in Spokane, WA from January 2015 until she graduated in May of 2015.

Officer Scheurer served as a Police Officer for the City of Spokane since December 2014. She transferred to the Mabton Police Department where she is currently serving as a full commissioned Officer.

Officer Scheurer was hired on October 21st of 2015 and will serve as a full time Police Officer.

She is excited and committed bringing her innovative ideas in modern policing to our community.

She will assist with reinventing and cultivating better community service to the City of Mabton as well as the Mabton Police Department.

There will be a (second) ceremonial swearing in, on 8/25/15 at Mabton City Hall for anyone who would like to show support and to congratulate Chief of Police, Casimiro M. Cedillo on his new appointment. This will take place at 7 pm during council meeting.

MABTON – Even though Nadia George has only been on the job as Mabton Police Department’s first ever office clerk for less than a month, she says the job is one she had been training for as long as she can remember.

Nadezhda Camille George

Ms. George grew up in the Grandview and Prosser area. She attended at the Prosser School District and graduated from Prosser High School.

Ms. George was born in Kostroma, Russia (Soviet Union) in 1990, where she lived until the age of 9. Shortly after, she and her older brother were adopted by the George family from Grandview, Washington in 2000.

In 2011, Ms. George attended Yakima Community College, in Grandview as a full time student.

She is a mother to two. She has held several positions in accounting and clerical fields.

Ms. George speaks three languages: English, Spanish, and her native language, Russian.

Ms. George is currently pursuing her AA Degree, with emphasis in Criminal Justice and is pursuing a career in law enforcement. She aspires to become a police officer one day.

Ms. George considers her greatest strength to be "hard worker who doesn't walk away from an incomplete job".

Ms. George was hired in early March, 2015 by the City of Mabton, to serve as Mabton Police Department's first official Police Clerk/Administrative Assistant. She aspires to have an immediate and positive impact to the department and community. She will serve the city of Mabton with a great deal of pleasure, integrity and responsibility.
