Does this sound familiar?

A big property tax hike could soon hit the Village of Pittsford. It's all because of the rising cost in the ongoing legal battle over a luxury apartment development plan near the canal.

Village board meeting agenda has been posted on the village site. It's going to be a very long meeting but a lot of important things will be covered. A bunch of resolutions should come out of executive session so I highly encourage people stick around until after its done.
***reminder that the meeting will be at the town hall, not village hall.

Anyone who might want to join us Monday, the swearing in ceremony for mayor and the two trustees seats will be held at the Macedon Town Hall located at 32 Main Street (Route 31) in the Village of Macedon. Ceremony starts at noon.
We want to thank the military veterans honor guard of the Palmyra American Legion Post #120 for providing the presentation of colors, Macedon Town Supervisor Sandy Pagano for MC'ING it and former village mayor Jim Youngman for swearing us in. It's gonna be a great day!

It about sums everything up nicely http://www.waynetimes.com/community/new-macedon-village-mayor-says-dissolution-will-move-fast/

While the area on Main Street will always be known to residents as “the village”, the Village of Macedon government will cease to exist after March 2017, according to Village voters last Tuesday. By an official vote tally of 339 YES to 191 NO, village voters approved the Dissolution Plan which was a…

Thank You Village of Macedon!

Today is the day Macedon! Same old games or a new beginning...it's up to you! This could be the only time in your life that you can vote yourself a tax reduction.
Be sure to vote and remind your family, friends and neighbors to do the same.

If you would like to join us at our reception tonight, we will be at the Palmyra Moose Club on route 31 in Palmyra starting at 8. I will give the official results about 915ish which will hopefully be followed by a quick victory speach. We expect some members from the village and town governments, media, the One Macedon committee and residents of the village and town.
Come down and hopefully we can celebrate together!
Free appetizers and a full bar is available should you want to enjoy a cold one with your friends and neighbors.

The newest lies being spread by Marie Cramer and Dave Kelly are that the village has already met the dissolution savings by dissolving the fire department. I'm not even sure why I am even responding to this as any person who has had 2nd grade math or higher and a copy of her proposed budget should be able to easily call this a lie. We are nowhere near the savings. If that was the case, then ask our mayor how come she only saved the residents $.02 on their taxes this year?
Prior to switching to South Macedon, the fire department had a budget of $102,917 plus another $11,000 for the ambulance for a grand total of $113,917. After we got rid of the fire department, our mayor decided to keep the ambulance at $11,000. Due to it being located at the fire hall, we still have $17,000 in fire hall utilities, add another $15,000 for insurance and $6000 in supplies. Add that up and you get $49,000. Now add in another $66,00 for the South Macedon contract and the guess what?...that totals $115,000, a $1100 increase!!!!
Don't be fooled by what these two tell you, upon dissolution we will eliminate the village ambulance which will save us $49,000 annually.
And the last minute lies and games continue...

Kinda funny how the village website has gone from an informational government website prior to dissolution movement to the mayor's propoganda page of today. We have it recorded several times where the mayor has stated that the village "will not take sides" but if you look at the home page, it tells at different story. The mayor was challenged by a resident back in early February about the rants and unprofessional posts on the page to which she stated "I have no where else to post, you don't want me to spend money" (which we also have recorded).
I understand that she and Dave Kelly want to save the village and I'm OK with it as long as they do the campaigning outside of village hall and not on what is supposed to be our village website. But to post opinions and outright lies only demonstrates how unprofessional and desperate they have become. Not sure why they can't buy a website or make an anti-dissolution page. Facebook costs nothing but your personal time.
3 more days!

1. With March 15th coming in just a few days, we at One Macedon want to encourage everyone to please look over the dissolution plan and please come out and vote at the Library between noon and 9pm. We hope the flyers which were stuck in all village residents doors contained answers to your questions about dissolution (or at least were a good guide to where the information was contained).

2. News Channel 8 walked with us today while William Murray and Don Lohse walked several neighborhoods talking to residents about dissolution and the mayoral race. Expect to see a full report on tomorrow's evening or late night news.

3. On Tuesday evening starting at 8, the Palmyra Moose Club will be hosting the One Macedon & election reception. The results of the election will be announced by William Murray upon his return from the count (approximately 9:15pm). Appetizers will be served and the bar will be staffed should anyone wish to have a drink. Admission is free and is open to anyone. The address is 3808 New York 31, Palmyra, NY 14522. We are hoping this is a celebration!

Voters in the Village of Macedon will finally get to have their voices heard where it counts – at the voting booth – on Tuesday (March 15th). At stake is the position of Mayor and two Village Trustees, and the acceptance or denial of the Dissolution Plan, adopted in December by the Village Board. A…
