☀️📚 School’s Out for Summer! 🎉

What an incredible year it has been at Ledgeview Elementary School! As the school year comes to a close, students celebrated with a variety of fun end-of-year activities, creating lasting memories with friends, teachers, and staff.

From games and outdoor activities to special classroom celebrations, it was a great way to wrap up another successful year of learning and growth. The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the building were a reminder of what makes the Ledgeview community so special.

On behalf of the Macedonia Police Department and our School Resource Officers, we wish all of our students, families, teachers, and staff a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break. We can’t wait to see everyone back in the fall!

Today and always, the Macedonia Police Department honors fallen Officer Gary Paster, EOW 5/29/1986.

We will never forget his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our community.

It was an honor once again for the Macedonia Police Department to participate in the VFW Memorial Day Parade. Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms. Thank you to everyone who came out to support and help keep this tradition alive. 🇺🇸

After 300 miles, we’ve made it to Washington, D.C. to honor the fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Proud to ride in their memory and stand beside law enforcement from across the nation in remembrance and respect. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸🚴‍♂️👮‍♂️

Day 3 of the Police Unity Tour in the books. We completed just over 95 miles. The weather was having issues deciding what to do. We had fog, rain, overcast, and finally as we arrived in Annapolis MD the sun came out. All of our team members are in great spirits, including the four of us from Macedonia PD. It’s been a tough three days, but we do this for a bigger reason, . We thank you for all the support during our journey. Tomorrow we ride to the National Law Enforcement Memorial, where we will greet the families of the fallen officers.

2nd leg of journey to honor the fallen complete. 100 miles today! The last 15 miles were all up hill and in a rain storm but we all pushed through! Remembering who we ride for.
