Please drive carefully around the town, as this time of the year brings deer out to munch on your flowers and shrubs and unfortunately onto the roadways. The police department has experienced an increase in deer v. vehicle crashes. For those of you that are unfortunate enough to contact deer with your vehicles, we have designed a standard crash report to save time, so just copy and call us for a report number, and submit to your insurance company.

Good Luck to our 9/10 Softball All Stars as they travel to Acadia for their first game tonight. Game begins at 5:30!

Their next all star game will be at home on Thursday the 24th at Southside Field.

Next week, Tuesday June 22 (rain date the 23rd) the state is closing Court Street between Free & Broadway.
Thru & Emergency traffic must use Colonial Way/192, if traveling west toward the hospital.
Bypass if traveling eastbound from 192, on North Street to Cooper/Center/Bruce or Lyons, or use West Street to Water or High Streets if coming from 1A heading eastbound.

BULLDOGS WIN! 13-5

Next stop and for the first time since 1992; the Northern Maine Championship! Wednesday at Mansfield Stadium against Southern Aroostook at 3pm.

Proud of our team today. Kash pitched a heck of a game 6 innings, 4 walks, 3 hits, 2 earned runs and 14 strikeouts.

JJ was as always a brick wall behind the plate. He and Kyle also had multiple hits today, and Shane absolutely crushed a stand-up triple.

A great all around team win!
