MIPS has two school board seats up for renewal on the November 3rd election!

To be an eligible candidate, persons must be a registered voter in the school district, be at least 18 years old, a US citizen and MI resident.

Candidates can pay the $100 filing fee or complete a nominating petition. If filing a nominating petition the candidate also needs to collect between at least six registered voter signatures to submit with their petition.

Important Deadlines:
--Tuesday, July 21, 2026: Deadline to file your Affidavit of Identity and Nominating Petition (or a $100 filing fee) with the Clerk.

We are grateful to the Mackinac Arts Council, our elementary teachers and our Art teacher for continuing to inspire and provide opportunities to our students so they can showcase their abilities. Yesterday, we celebrated their work at our Poetic Visions event! Artwork and poetry will be displayed at Mission Point's art gallery through the summer.
