Temperatures and the heat index have the potential to be DANGEROUSLY hot for the next few days in Central Illinois.

You should limit your time outside as much as you can, but if you need to be outside, make sure you know where you can get inside to take a break and cool off.

Check out this list of different cooling centers throughout Tazewell County that you can take advantage of in Armington, Creve Coeur, Deer Creek, East Peoria, North Pekin, Pekin, and Washington.

Attention Dee-Mack Community: If you're looking for a supportive preschool for your 3, 4, or 5 year old for next school year, check out Little Learning Chiefs Academy at Dee-Mack High School!

We are a preschool in the high school classroom and next year is our 7th year. We accept children on a first come first serve basis as to when we receive their application. Children must be able to use the toilet independently with supervision. The cost is $25 per semester.
