Join us in welcoming firefighter Christian Popp to our part-time ranks! MTFD was proud to have Firefighter Popp officially join our crew this morning after being sworn in.

You may have noticed that all MTFD fire stations are glowing red this week. Macomb Township is proud to support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's “Light the Night” campaign from April 26 through May 3.

This initiative honors the brave firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty, while showing support for their families, colleagues, and departments. Community members can participate by simply displaying a red porch light or similar red lighting at your home or business through May 3.
