Maria A. Napolitano for Macomb Twp Trustee 2012

Maria A. Napolitano for Macomb Twp Trustee 2012 On May 14, 2012, Maria A Napolitano filed nominating petitions as candidate for Macomb Twp Trustee, Republican Party, on the Aug 7, 2012 Primary Election.

My primary goal is for Macomb Twp to be a business friendly environment, encouraging a positive working relationship, with streamlined regulations and simplified processes that otherwise impede business development, for our continued economic growth. Respecting the revenue that local business brings in is key to our township success. Generating tax revenue by encouraging businesses to invest in ou

r community can provide opportunity to beautify our township, maintain our aging infrastructure, attract and preserve township residency, improve senior services, and provide quality safety, parks & recreation, schools and libraries, and emergency services. ~Maria A Napolitano

After watching other angry residents Wednesday blast a Macomb Township trustee accused by a commercial developer of demanding a bribe, Charles Missig said voters later urged him to enter the political fray on Election Day.

The trail to election day has been an awesome exhilerating journey of knowledge sharing and support! The unfortunate side was the ugliness of fear-filled incumbents that try to win by degrading candidates. Obviously I've spoken of the continual sign-stealing. And Today I speak of the hate-mailers delivered anonymously and cowardly. My candidacy is not only in acknowledgement of but also driven by the strength and survival in overcoming much first-hand distress from the our declining economy and high unemployment level and competitive job hunting ratio of few jobs to the masses seeking. Everyone who knows me, knows of my open honest character to a flaw of which I'm pleased of. This has been a common open discussion in my campaigning and nothing which was ever secret as claimed. My initiatives for business growth and job creations are fueled by the need to help our community and residents thrive and protected from these difficulties that plague many. My bankruptcy and need for a bridge card are and were a blessing to me after desperately seeking 3 years of alternative methods, jobs, liquidating, budgeting, and much help of amazing friends and family that carried me though difficult times, as felt by many. I not only have always lived with openness and selflessness in all aspects of my life, I also preach openly of the difficulties and the drive in supporting and ensuring business growth and job creation so that others have the necessary solutions that I too seeked. The shame does NOT lie in utilizing government tools like bankruptcy as have many american corporation like General Motors, the shame lies in those that attempt to heartlessly manipulate peoples struggles for their own ignorant evil gain. Win or Lose I am a winner in this endeavor, the connections I made, the residents whose concerns I voiced, and will continue to fight for, and in the reality that my heart was true and my spirit content in fighting a clean fair campaign. God bless us to obtain the best representation, or God help us when the evil prevails.

My lawn signs are still available and this last week stretch to the finish line is fierce. Signs continue to be stolen, other signs demanded by current board member to business owners to remove them. Though I appreciate the hidden compliment in my opponents fear of my character winning over his evil nature and therefore removing my advertising to protect himself against a loss, the ugliness has been disappointing but not at all a reason to retreat but rather push forward with confidence of a job well done in a clean campaign on my end.
