Reach out to the Macomb Township Historical Commission or Macomb Township Supervisor's Office for information on volunteering!
In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of our country this year, the Macomb Township Historical Commission would like to honor our deceased veterans on Flag Day, Sunday, June 14th by placing U.S. Flags on their graves at the various cemeteries within the Township. Since we are a very small group, we are asking for volunteers to join us to accomplish this feat. Our plan is to start at noon and continue until all known veteran grave markers receive a flag. If you would like to help, please reach out to us on this page, or contact the Supervisor's Office with your information. We understand that all grave markers do not indicate that the person was a veteran. So if you have a relative or loved one buried within the Township whose grave doesn't have that indication, please let us know as well so that they can be properly remembered.
