Our Lincoln Day Dinner was another successful event. Great attendance with good food and great speakers, along with the best auctioneers made the event very enjoyable. Thanks to the candidates who attended. McDonough County Republicans showed up and supported our efforts. Onward to the General election in November!

The McDonough County Republican Central Committee would like to commend County Clerk, Jeremy Benson, for his quick and appropriate response to an unfortunate event at one of the polling locations on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. We do not approve of the language used by the election judge, and are glad that said individual will be barred from serving in any capacity in future elections.

One of the beautiful reasons I am running for State Senate - my oldest daughter Macey is a dedicated kindergarten teacher in the Rushville-Industry School District. Her Husband Lucas is a hardworking grain and cattle farmer and they are the wonderful parents of my grandsons, Nash and Crew, and very soon to-be new granddaughter! God is good!

Let’s ask ourselves, what are we leaving for our next generation? What examples are we setting? Let’s come together, get better and move Illinois in the right direction. Selling our farms and moving our families are not an option!

Since retiring from the Illinois State Police after nearly 30 years, Brad has spent a lot of his time right here at home, farming alongside his family.

He got his CDL to haul grain, helps with the family operation, and even started a small farm of his own. It's hands-on work that keeps him connected to the land every day.

Brad is passionate about learning more about agriculture, not just the day-to-day, but the bigger picture of what our farmers face: input costs, markets, regulations, weather challenges, and keeping family farms strong for the next generation. Every time he's out in the field or talking with neighbors, he's reminded how vital farming is to our local economies, our communities, and the entire 36th District.

To every farmer in McDonough, Warren, Knox, Henry, Mercer, Rock Island, and beyond: Brad wants to hear from you. He knows he doesn't have all the answers, but he is committed to listening, learning, and carrying your voice to Springfield. If elected, he intends to be a strong, practical advocate for ALL the farmers in our district.

If you'd like to share your thoughts, your challenges, or your ideas, or if you'd be willing to be part of the network of folks Brad calls on as he works to represent you best, please reach out.
