At 9:02 a.m., Frontier Communications reported an outage in the Bushnell, Illinois area affecting 234 customers. This outage may affect your ability to call 911.
If you experience issues and need emergency assistance, please call the McDonough County Sheriff’s Department at 309-833-2323.

Frontier will let us know when the outage is restored.

With extreme temperatures expected this week, please see the listed cooling center locations. Note that some hours may differ on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, due to Independence Day.

During extreme heat remember to:
-find air conditioning
- avoid strenuous activities
- check on family members and neighbors
- drink plenty of water
- watch for heat cramps, exhaustion, and stroke
- never leave people or pets in a closed car

Make sure you keep your eyes peeled!! Hotdogs are for bonfires, not harming people/animals!!

Please keep an eye out for stray hotdogs in your yards/on your property. We had a client on Pierce street find multiple hot dogs with pills inside on his property. At this time we don’t know why they were present or who did it.

Woahhhh, baby!! Hector had such a fun day with Lifeguard Ambulance Service of Illinois and Air Evac!! Hector isn’t too sure about that heights thing but how cool are they??
