Help us back the brave dogs of our K9 Unit
—one cup at a time!

The Macomb Police Department is requesting donations from those willing to support the K9 program. In appreciation, the Macomb Police Department will present their generous donors with a 20oz K9 Jax tumbler. Donations can be made to the Macomb Police Department K-9 Program and tumblers can be picked up at the Macomb Police Department records window Monday-Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM. Donation receipts are also available upon request.

100% of proceeds go directly to the K9 Unit to provide essential training, equipment, and care for our hardworking K-9 officers.

Good work, Jax!

On 04/23/24 a wanted subject fled from a traffic stop on foot. Officer Cramer and K9 Jax were summoned to the scene and requested to track the suspect. Officer Cramer cast K9 Jax and a track commenced. The duo tracked through a residential neighborhood for several blocks. K9 Jax tracked to the front porch of an abandoned residence and alerted Officer Cramer to the presence of a suspect. Commands were issued and the suspect exited from under the porch of the house. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Great job by Officer Cramer and K9 Jax. Their dedication to their community is greatly appreciated.

K9 Mac is already thriving in retirement! With Mac’s retirement from the PD he is also retiring from FB world! We want to thank everyone for all of the support over the years and we know K9 Jax and Officer Cremer will keep you guys entertained moving forward.
