Meet our new summer stewardship member: Isabella Hanley!

Isabella started her work as a Seasonal Stewardship Tech on Monday. Her goal with our Stewardship Coordinator Kirsten this week has been to get acclimated to Prairie Land Conservancy work and to prepare one of our sites for a public event this Friday.

The Bio Blitz on Friday June 5th, which Isabella will also be working, requires a lot of prep time. Making sure there are no downed trees blocking public access. That the trails are mowed. And much more.

Come out and say hello to Isabella this Friday from 9 AM - Noon at Prairie Hills Wetland Reserve (in the photo Isabella is standing next to its sign)!

Here is what Isabella would like you to know about her background: "I chose to work at Prairie Land Conservancy because of their positive attitude towards nature! I liked that I get to be outside everyday, and learn new skills and facts. When I am not working, I like to read and cook."
