Mrs. Coupland (2nd Grade) and the Lincoln Staff are thrilled to receive an MEF grant for the sensory room. "The MEF is making make our sensory room even more amazing, and thanks to them, our teachers feel continued support for educational activities and materials that could not be provided by other sources of funding! They truly are AMAZING and deserve this recognition!" The Sensory Room upgrade included a bubble wall water fountain, bubble fish light tube, liquid floor tiles, balance beam, and squeeze seat. This makes the sensory room an inviting place when students need a little break.

There is still time to join the Macomb Education Foundation for the Dueling Pianos. This Saturday (Feb 7th, 2026) from 6 pm-9pm at the Park Place in Macomb. Doors open at 5 pm. Snacks and a cash bar will be available. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Individual tickets are $37.50 or a table of 8 is $300.00.

Remember all funds raised help support Macomb 185 Schools teachers and students.

Mrs. Larid, Mrs. Doll, and their students from Macomb Middle School, are very excited about their new podium. When the old one broke, they were all sad. The new one is even better.

Two of their students put it together in Science class as an engineering lesson. Thank you boys. You did a great job. They learned skills on how to read instructions and use the provided tools.

The students love presenting their work on the new podium.

MEF has recently donated $9,000 each to Lincoln School, Edison School, the Macomb Middle School and Macomb High School to provide materials to enrich and enhance the classes. We are so proud of the teachers and hope this will aide them in their classes.
