We are so excited for this weekend! We have been given the unique opportunity to dabble in the paranormal, our foundation chair is speaking both days of the conference, and we are holding paranormal investigations both nights as well.

There are still plenty of tickets left for this event. Swing out and see us! Snag some merchandise from our vending table, including our NEW tshirts and patches!!!

The ground remembers what the people forget... and its sharing its secrets!

RIP Mr. Wayne. Cannonball House staff, family, and friends are in our prayers.

To our Facebook friends and followers, if you have come to visit the Cannonball House during the past couple of weeks and showed up to the museum being closed, we are truly sorry.
For those of you that have visited over the past 10 years, you might have been on a tour with Wayne Dobson, our resident archivist and historian. He loved his job, loved meeting people from all over the world, and always said that he hoped whenever guests left the museum they would gain an appreciation for Macon and its history.
Last Tuesday, October 6th 2026 Wayne passed away at the age of 75.

Yesterday his family laid him to rest, and he was given the send off that he always said he wanted.

Due to health issues with other members of the Cannonball House staff, we will do our best to be back to regular operating hours as soon as possible.

Thank you all for your understanding,
The Cannonball House Staff
