South Macon Neighborhood Market Study
In June 2026, the Macon-Bibb County Land Bank Authority (MBLBA) partnered with SEAS Community Partners to conduct a Neighborhood Market Study of South Macon, one of the Land Bank’s focus areas.
The study was designed to better understand the area’s housing conditions, vacancy, affordability, neighborhood assets, resident priorities, and opportunities for reinvestment. The findings will help guide the Land Bank’s efforts to make informed decisions about property reuse, housing stabilization, partnerships, and future investment while ensuring that community priorities remain at the center of revitalization efforts.
We invite residents, community partners, developers, and other stakeholders to explore the study and learn more about the opportunities and priorities identified for South Macon.
