We are thrilled to welcome our teens at the Bloomfield-Gilead Recreation Center to R.A.W. (Real Actors Workshop), a premier summer intensive hosted by A.C.T.S. Productions & Consultation, LLC

The program is led by MBCRD staff member, Rose Hunt-Person, a classically trained actor, director, coach, and Independent film producer with over 20 years of combined stage and film experience. A.C.T.S. Productions is excited to bring professional-grade training to the local community. This program is not a traditional "drama club"—it is a focused, two-day-a-week intensive designed to build real skill, discipline, and confidence.

The past 2 days have been exciting! We prepared for our 2026 Summer Camp leaders with a fantastic training session led by Recreation Programmer Natalie Allen and the dedicated MBCRD team!

Our staff is prepared and ready to create unforgettable memories this summer, I hope you guys are ready! See you bright and early at 7:30 AM on Monday

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!!
Pools are official open in Macon-Bibb County!

South Bibb Recreation Center, Delores A. Brooks Recreation Center and Frank Johnson Recreation Center-Unionville, with splash pads at Macon Bibb United Boxing Club At Freedom Park and South Bibb Recreation Center.

Admission is $1, and children must be accompanied by an adult
